Store bought baby food

Like I said in my last baby food food I would make a post about store bought food! Now this could just be me but I personally do not like how watered down the store bought food is! Clearly they just use more liquid then I use but, personally, not a fan. Also it doesn‘t even state it has any water or any type of liquid. It just has whatever fruit or vegetable that is is labeled and then says vitamin C. They even give you exactly how much fruit and vegetables went into each container. So why it’s so watery or liquidity makes no sense to me. To me that just tells me there has got to be more then what they say in it. So I am very picky on the brand I get. I literally stand in the aisle and tilt the jars around so I can get a good look at the consistency. I found out of all the brands i just like the classic Gerber brand. But I get the organic kind. I usually just get whatever flavors they have. Unless it has avocados, Mirabella took after her daddy on that one and does NOT like them. That’s the only food she has protested and not liked. Everything else she’s totally down with.

The kinds I've tried so far. Both Jar and Pouches. I would just squeeze it out of the pouch onto a spoon. That's actually what it says to do on the pouch. But I did try a few times to give it to her from the pouch and she kept thinking it was a bottle and would get mad. HA. So the spoon process worked just fine. I would give her the whole amount of the pouch, or whatever she would eat and throw away. Then half of the jar.

I do give her puffs and teething wafers. She wouldn't survive a day without having either of those things! She is obsessed. I buy the ”Happy Baby Organics” brand. And she loves them! The types I’ve tried are below. You can find this brand anywhere. Publix, Walmart, Kroger. The flavors the carry will vary but they will have them.

These are a different shape, for whatever reason. But she was able to eat them just fine like the others and really likes this kind.

⬆️⬆️ This one is her absolute favorite one. The broccoli most definitely smells weird. The second you open it your hit with a very broccoli smell. But she loves it!

So that’s about it on the store bought foods I get. As she gets older and getting more baby led weaning foods I’ll have to come up with more ideas on what to buy and make her. so I’ll be looking into making a good BLW food list here soon for you guys!

Stay safe guys! 💗
