This past week I made some more baby food. Since we had been on vacation for the thanksgiving holiday I wasn't able to make any baby food for her. I had to give er store bought. Which is totally fine but I am a bit picky about which brand I buy. I'll make a seperate blog post on store bought food.
Lets talk breakfast. If you're new here, for her breakfast purees I add baby oatmeal to it the day I make it for her. And I always do some type of fruit mix. This go around I went with Apples, which is always my first go too, and mangos. I don't think shes ever had mangos, so that would be something new I'm introducing to her. She usually does pretty good with trying new foods though. This one was pretty easy to make.
Apple and Mango
1 whole apple- peeled and cut into small pieces
1 whole mango- Which I found to be extremely difficult to cut. I'm sure it was user error.
1 oz formula
Blended well
It made about 11, 3 oz containers
Sweet Potato and Broccoli
2 whole Sweet Potatoes- peeled, cut and steamed
1 broccoli crown - cut up and use 2 cups worth of it
1 oz forumla
Blended well
It made about 8, 4 oz containers but I had forgotten to take a picture of them before I got 3 in
