One Year Check Up

One year check up vs 2 month check up.

.

Things certainly are different in just 10 short months. Dad could still come with but mask are now required.

.

This girl is such a trooper for all the things she has to endure at these doctors visits. She needs blood work once a year and although she screamed and cried. She laid still and let them try. She’s just like her mama and has tiny, moving veins. And even though we were able to get a portion of her bloodwork, we go back Monday to try and get the rest. My mama heart. She has a big bruise on the arm they pulled from. It was pretty rough, so I am not looking forward to having to try again.

She does so good for her shots too, instantly stops crying the second I pick her up and looks around like “wth just happened?” 🤣 She’s developing wonderfully, 17 pounds, 27 inches long and full of complete joy. 💙💛

Our next doctors appointment is back to the eye doctor, where we see if she needs glasses. Then to the ENT again after that, which was rescheduled, we we’re supposed to go last week.

Which won’t be til February but they said that it’s okay.

.

It can definitely be overwhelming at times, all the extra appointments she has. But it’s all for her and her health so I would go to thousand more if I needed too.
