New friends!

Last week we got together we a local mom who has a 3 1/2 year old with Down syndrome as well! Her name is Amanda and her daughters name is Ava. I actually reached out on my mommy group on Facebook and just asked if anyone was from my area. I agot over 100 comments of moms near by! It was pretty amazing to see what a community I have around me. If anyone is familiar with downtown Gainesville, Georgia, they have a spot in the middle where you can picnic and walk around. But we had so much fun just hanging out and getting to know each other. Mirabella loved watching Ava run around and play. She passed out on the way home and slept for a good hour and a half. I am so happy I reached out and was able to connect with so many moms! We plan to go to Gigis playhouse soon as well to meet more moms and gain more friends!
