In today’s world let’s face it. Instagram is the next big business. From blogging to influencing. To literally having a small business. It’s becoming the front for stay at home jobs. And even though it is, ‘just social media’, for some, it is a business. Am I anywhere near that point? Not one bit! Does it sting a little bit when I get ZERO hits on a questions post. A LOT! Most of you are thinking, ‘It’s just social media’. Or supporters, ‘You’re just starting out!’ I promise, I’ve tried all sorts of outlines and ways to try and launch through social media. Even now, I have a pretty set outline of the type of content I’m sharing and the audience I’m trying to reach. I still feel, I’m reaching no one. I feel like it’s pointless some days. For real, who really cares? Does anyone besides my family read my post? Regardless, I show up. I post, I share my life with y’all. I step out of my comfort zone. And I’ll continue to do so. Because it’s for me, and most of all, Mirabella. To document her growth and strength, that anyone is capable of anything. And to show her, her mama can do anything she sets her mind too! It’s honestly been something I have been struggling with. Since it is my platform, and I’m trying to reach an audience. When at the end of the day. I don’t really have an audience. It’s definitely a let down at times. I often wonder what I’m doing wrong or what I’m not doing. I really try not to let it get me down though.

Yeah, it’s just social media but to me, it’s still lame and embarrassing at times.

But I’m just going to brush it off and keep on going. I’m going to keep on posting questions, engaging and one day I know I’ll be where I want to be!

That goes for everyone and every goal! Don’t stop showing up and reaching for your goals. No matter how hard or uncomfortable it feels!
